RemanOp
Industrial optimization
Connect cycle time, technical yield and disassembly efficiency by batch.
Flag bottlenecks and process deviations for team review.
THE 4REMAN CONCEPT
4Reman proposes four AI agents to examine operations, materials, costs and quality. A consolidation agent would bring their findings together and flag questions for the team to assess.
Connect cycle time, technical yield and disassembly efficiency by batch.
Flag bottlenecks and process deviations for team review.
Measure component reuse and material disposal throughout the process.
Carbon reporting needs a defined method and additional data for each operation.
Connect core acquisition, new component and recovery costs with sale price.
Support pricing and batch result analysis using comparable cost bases.
Track bench tests, rework, failures and technical compliance.
Product release remains the operation’s technical responsibility.
INDICATORS
These examples help decide what to measure. Unit, period, source and calculation rules must be agreed with the operation before any result is used.
Cores processed ÷ the sum of products sold, in stock and in progress. Use the same period and prevent double counting.
Compare the predicted core class with the class confirmed after inspection.
Components reused ÷ components disassembled, with clear reuse criteria.
Discarded mass ÷ total mass of incoming cores. This alone does not measure avoided emissions.
Core acquisition cost ÷ remanufactured product sale price, using comparable bases.
New component cost, both as an amount and as a share of total remanufacturing cost.
Cost-weighted component recovery; weights and eligibility need to be defined.
Percentage of incoming cores in classes A, B and C, based on agreed criteria.
PROPOSED CONSOLIDATION
The proposed Reman Intelligence Agent would connect findings from RemanOp, RemanGreen, RemanEco and RemanQual in an executive report. Each conclusion would need to identify its source data and undergo human review.
TECHNICAL SCOPE
Architecture, automation and final indicators depend on a technical assessment. Cost, impact and performance outcomes are not promised before each case is reviewed.
McKinsey describes potential cost reductions of 40% to 60% for remanufacturing compared with making new parts. This is an industry estimate, not a forecast for a particular operation.
